Registration is online only.

PLEASE READ ALL BELOW INFORMATION IN FULL & ENSURE PAYMENT IS MADE TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION. 

Registration is annual from January - December, it does not matter what part of the year your register in, you are required to renew your membership at the beginning of every year, before you intend on competing. We recommend you do this early in the year, regardless on when you intend on competing.

If you were registered in 2025 you are a RETURNING MEMBER

If you were not registered in 2025 you are a NEW MEMBER

REGISTRATION TYPES:-

1. CLUB AFFILIATION - All clubs must be affiliated, (this is not for athletes) if you were affiliated in 2025 your club will appear in the clubs option, if you were not affiliated in 2025 you will need to select 'Boxing Qld' as your club.
2. CLUB COACH - all coaches other than the club affiliate are required to register 
3. CLUB COACH/BOXING QLD OFFICIAL (R&J) - If you are a club coach and also assist with officiating you are required to select this option
4. BOXING QLD OFFICIAL (R&J) - For officials only
5. ATHLETES -
   1. 10yrs U11 (born 2016)
   2. Sub Junior U13 (born 2014-2015)
   3. School Age U15 (born 2012-2013)
   4. Junior U17 (born 2010-2011)
   5. Youth U19 (born 2008-2009)
   6. Elite (born 2007-1986)
   7. Masters 40yrs+ (1985 & earlier)

CLUB AFFILIATION - $200 + capitation fee - All clubs must be affiliated before boxers can register.

• Club affiliate should be the main contact of the club.
• Ensure your postal address is correct, you will receive 5 competition books with your initial affiliation. If your address is wrong you will need to purchase new books
• Any additional books over and above the initial 5 can be purchased from the BOXING QLD SHOP

Coaches/Officials

Coaches - $20 + capitation - All coaches must be registered with Boxing Qld to enter the field of play. Plese register under the 'Club Coach' option and select your club - you cannot register as a coach until your club is affiliated.

Referees & Judges - All officials must be registered online,  after you have confirmation from the RJ Coordinator that you are an approved Official.

- if you are using a phone, some aspects of this process may not appear, please use a desktop or laptop computer.

* PLEASE REMEMBER THAT INITIAL AFFILIATION IS THROUGH AN INDIVIDUALS INFORMATION - PREFERABLY THE MAIN CONTACT PERSON FOR THE CLUB - The person that deals with registrations, nominations, match ups etc.

To be able to enter the field of play (corner) All  coaches MUST register​ online.

• All coaches must provide their blue card details and must have their blue card linked to BQ. Blue Card Services Applicant Portal
• If your club is affiliated under your name you do not need to complete a coaches registration.

All coaches are required to join the below coaches pages, this is where all the matching up takes place. Note this is for coaches only, it is not for parents, boxers or spectators.

Elite | Masters (2007 or earlier) - $130.00 + cap >

• Must complete a serology (blood) test for HIV, HEP B&C in the serology section in your blue book, or if your book does not have the section, complete the serology form available on the BQ web page under forms, then staple the form into the back of your blue book.
• You must also upload your full report to your BQ online profile.

Youth (2008 - 2009) - $130.00 + cap >

• Must complete a serology (blood) test for HIV, HEP B&C in the serology section in your blue book, or if your book does not have the section complete the serology form available on the BQ web page under forms, then staple the form into the back of your blue book.
• You must also upload your full report to your BQ online profile.

Junior boxers (u17) (2010 - 2011)- $80.00 + cap >  

• MUST complete a serology (blood) test for HEP B,C & HIV, the serology clearance form (or complete the serology section in your blue book if your book has the appropriate sections, this is seperate from the medical on page 2-7.
• You must also upload your full report to your BQ online profile.

*Please note a full report will be required if you are selected for Qld to compete interstate, we strongly suggest you request an extract of the full serology report from your Dr.

Under 15 (2012-2013), Under 13 (2014-2015) & Under 11's (10yrs) (2016) - $80 + cap, no serology required.

• All Boxers in under 17's (Junior), Under 15's (School Boy/Girl), Under 13's (Sub Junior) & Under 11's (T -10yrs) must upload a copy of their birth certificate to their BQ online member profile, file can be attached during registration process.

Payment is online through Pin payment during the online registration process.

*****Nb: Not all devices provide the option to download files, please register using a modern device ie; tablet, phone, laptop or desktop computer. There is nothing wrong with the system. Before contacting us ensure you have attempted these options ****

Registration must be a min 2 weeks prior to any competition. Discuss this with your coach before doing so and make sure they are aware you are registering - Your coach will have your blue book..

CLUB AFFILIATION FEES must be paid before a boxer can register with the club and or nominate for a tournament.

Please check that you blue competition book has the following:

a current PHOTO inside the front page - if your photo doesn't look like you anymore you'll need to replace it

MEDICAL must be completed in your blue book! current and stamped by a doctor within the last 12 months.

Serology tests for all boxers from the junior U17 age division and older to be updated every 12 months. Please make sure this is completed in your book (if you have a new one),

if not, utilise the BQ Serology Clearance Form and staple it into the back of your blue Book.

SEROLOGY FORM

This will be checked at weigh in and you will not be permitted to compete if your serology is not correctly attached to or completed in your blue book.

**PLEASE NOTE, YOU WILL NEED THE FULL SEROLOGY REPORT IF YOU GAIN SELECTION IN THE QLD TEAM, TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF QLD AND OR COMPETE IN A BOXING AUS EVENT.

Make sure your blue book is SIGNED on page 1 under your photo and on page p37.
