Boxing Queensland is the governing body for amateur boxing in Queensland.
We provide opportunity & pathways for athletes, volunteers, coaches and officials to represent their state & country at the top level of their chosen sport.
There are currently in excess of 120 clubs throughout Qld including but not limited to Cairns in the North, Mt Isa in the West and the Gold Coast in the South.
Boxing Qld caters for all areas of Queensland and continues to grow each and every year.
Boxing Queensland offers development for novice to advanced boxers, interstate (with all states) competition & international competition for all experience levels.
Boxing Queensland offers access to the most experienced coaches in the state and also in the country recognised by the AIS, Sports Commision & sport & Recreation. The most up to date training techniques, and always evolving and staying in touch with the rest of the world.
Boxing Qld through their affiliation with Boxing Australia also offer the only recognised coaching, judging & refeereing accreditations in Qld.

Details about your club:
Academy Training is an open class for all skill levels however, participation can depend on fitness levels and the athlete maybe required to participate in the cardio classes prior joining the Academy Traing. Minimum age 10yrs and a 3 month commitment is required. We allow the athlete to opt out with in the first week of their commitment for any reason.

Equipment requirement: Hand Wraps, Mouth guard, 16oz gloves, head gear and club uniform
Competition Equipment: Club singlet and trunks, groin guard, mouth guard, competition head gear and hand wraps, water bottle, towel.
