Tournament Prerequisite's: Please read in full to understand the below information and follow instruction..

All tournaments will be pre matched (on the BQ official coaches page) after nominations are received, via the online registration portal (only) & nominations are closed.

THE BQ COACHES PAGE, IS FOR HEAD COACHES AND CLUB AFFILIATES ONLY, NO PARENTS, FRIENDS, BOXERS OR NON REGISTERED COACHES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Nominations will close SUNDAY night of the preceeding week of the tournament (APPROX 2 weeks), This allows time for clubs that are travelling to confirm a match up, book accom and organise travel.

{It is the coaches responsibility to ensure their boxers are registered appropriately and tournament nominations are in on time}

Weigh in times to be set by the host club and must be completed a min 1hr before competition starts.

All Junior age (U17's) athletes and over must have a serology, if you have a new book it can be completed and signed of by the Dr as per below, if you have an old blue book download the single page SEROLOGY FORM  and have the Dr fill it in accordingly then staple it into the back page of your blue book.

    No serology, No match up.

If a boxer does not have the serology section complete or the Form in the back of their book, they will be turned away at weigh in. BQ will not be following this up during the nomination process, it is the responsibility of the boxer and coach.

It is the coaches responsibility to ensure their boxers have all their paperwork and requirements in order

Coaches are responsible for advising their members on how to register and nominate.

It is strongly recommended that you use a desktop or laptop computer to register, nominate and add files. The full site does not appear correctly on tablet's or mobile phones and can cause issues.

CLUBS HOSTING TOURNAMENTS MUST PROVIDE - 

** all officials with a meal & Refreshments (tea, coffee & or water).

Boxing Qld will coordinate the officials to attend each event on a rotating system.

The host club is not to contact any officials and or attempt to organise their own officials!! all contact must be via the coordinator and or the assistant coordinator.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TOURNAMENT FEES AND COSTS INVOLVED BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO HOST A TOURNAMENT, CLICK > HERE FOR ALL TOURNAMENT FEES AND PROCESS.

Please note that you will be invoiced for your tournament fee which must be paid prior to your tournament commencing.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTERSTATE CLUBS AND BQ CLUBS TRAVELLING INTERSTATE -

**All BQ registered boxers wanting to compete interstate or internationally 'OUTSIDE OF QLD' must get a clearance from the BQ secretary to attend, a min of 2 weeks notice is required, no exceptions. All clearances must be applied for online, click the link > CLEARANCE TO COMPETE INTERSTATE

** All interstate/international boxers travelling into Qld must have a clearance (from their governing body [state secretary or national governing body secretary]) sent to the BQ secretary before competing.

Junior age (u17's) Boxers and older travelling into Queensland require a serology report for HIV, Hep B & C

All boxers must be registered with a BA afilliated Boxing Qld club. Or if travelling from ovewrseas must gain a clearance through Boxing Australia.

Please remember when you affiliate with Boxing Qld (or any other state BA member association) you agree to abide by all rules and regulations. Any breaches of the rules and regulations will be dealt with accordingly.

Tournament Dates:

ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, AS PER BOXING AUSTRALIA & BOXING QUEENSLAND REQUIREMENTS - ALL PATHWAY AND SELECTION EVENTS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER STANDARD TOURNAMENTS.

No Club can hold a multi day event. All multi day events are for Boxing Qld/Boxing Australia hosted events only.

All tournaments sanctioned by Boxing Qld/BA will have the below sanctioning logo displayed.

All coaches must:-

• Have a min current Bronze Level coaches qualification
• have a current Blue card linked to boxing Qld
• Be registered online, via an affiliated club.
  • Blue card and Coaches card must be on a lanyard visible to the referee to check before each bout
  • If you have not got a physical card, print your virtual 1 out
  • If you don't have the virtual 1, you can go to the BA web site and (click the link>) check your credentials and take a screen shot of your information and print that out
  • IF CREDENTIALS ARE NOT DISPLAYED YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CORNER
  • All coaches NEW or RETURNING must hold a min current Bronze level accreditation to participate in the field of play
    • If you are a new club please organise to complete the Bronze level accreditation course as there will be no exemptions applied.

Blue cards MUST be linked to Boxing QLD, NO CARD, NO LINK no corner.

All Junior Boxers (u17's) and older must complete a serology (blood test) for HEP B,C & HIV, this is seperate (in addition) from your standard medical. NO SEROLOGY or medical, NO match up. Please keep your full report handy, as you will need it if you compete for Qld in a Boxing Australia pathway or titles event.

Club Affiliation (only) open - As part of your affiliation your club will be issued 5 new blue books, if you require more blue books, they can be orderd from the BQ SHOP (they are no longer issued with boxer registration) - Boxers, assistant coaches cannot order books, Only books ordered by the club affiliate will be sent. A reminder the club head coach is responsible for the distribution of the blue books.

• Register your club early
• Have blue books on hand to give to new boxers, when they're ready to compete. Don't get them ready to compete then order blue books 

Books can be ordered by the Club affiliate or head coach via the BQ SHOP, you must log in using your BQ ID.
