Coach Tournament Nomination change

2024 saw the introduction of the coach nomination for each and every tournament.

While this is a necessity we have been working hard to make this as painless as possible for all involved.

We have been getting every coach to nominate for every event so far this year however this a painstaking task for all involved and with our busy schedule there has been and will be continuous oversights.

As of the 1st April there will be no coach exemptions for established BQ clubs, everyone has had suffisient time to ensure all club coaches have their required coaching accreditations, any new coaches that do not have their accreditation within established clubs will have to complete the Bronze level accreditation before entering the field of play.

New clubs to BQ will need to contact BQ and discuss options before taking part in competition.

Moving forward coaches will only need to nominate once for the year.

When nominating you will be required to

• upload a pic of your physical coaches card or a screen shot of the new digital card. If you have neither you will need to contact BA and order a replacement card.
• upload a pic of your blue card, if you don't it you will have to order a new one from Blue card services. it is law that you have your card on you.

A report of all coaches will be on hand at each and every event. Coaches will need to pick up their coaches armbands and get their name crossed of the list.

Armbands must be fitted securely to your wrist and will be checked by the Referee before the bout commences.

If you do not have your armband on you will be asked to leave the field of play immediately. The bout will not commence until you have done so.
