2024 Qld youth/Junior state titles & NQ Games

* Boxers * competition Headguards must be approved * All junior age (u17) and older athletes must have a current serolory report.

THIS IS A 2 PART NOMINATION PROCESS

$30.00 BQ NOMINATION FEE FOR ALL ENTRANTS (In the state titles & or NQ Games) - Boxers who nominate but do not advise withdrawal after the draw is complete may be penalised. - Please note this fee is a nomination fee and is not refundable so please be sure before nominating.

NB: Youth & Junior Boxers can nominate for both the state titles and the NQ Games during the BQ nomination process.

• If you only select to compete in the state titles you will not be eligible or added into the NQ Games draw.
• If selected both the state titles and NQ Games and you don't get a match in the state titles you will be included in the NQ Games draw.

Again, If you only tick the u19 state title event, you cannot compete in the NQ games if you do not draw an opponent. You must select both state titles and NQ Games below to be eligible to be in the draw for the NQ Games! You must also register through the NQ Games online registration portal.Please note, You will not be able to wait and see if you draw an opponent for the state titles as the NQ Games regitration will be closed.)

• There is a $30 BQ nomination fee for as per standard multi day events, which goes towards our officials expenses, travel, accom & daily fees. This is payable during the BQ nomination.
• There is a $33 registration fee for the NQ Games which goes towards your NQ games athletes packs and so on.
• You must register/Nominate through both systems to be able to compete in the NQ Games.

Boxing - 2024 NQ Games

COACHES -

• Must be min 18yrs of age, or part of the BQ Junior Coach Program
• Must be registered as a coach with BQ through the online registration process, linked to the affiliated club you coach at.
• Must have a min current Bronze Level (L1) coaches ticket - your accreditation can be checked here

• Must have a current blue card linked to Boxing Qld

All Boxers must be full members of Boxing Qld to register and compete.

FEMALE Boxers - Will be required to complete a non pregnancy form, please pre fill the FORM and bring it with you, there will be none available on the day.

Age Groups from 10 years to Masters by year of birth

10 Years (Born 2014, must have turned 10 already), Under 13 (Born 2012-2013), Under 15 (Born 2010-2011), Junior U17 (Born 2008-2009), Youth U19 (Born 2006-2007), Elite (1984 - 2005), Masters (1983 & Earlier)

All weight classes

10 Years, Sub Junior, School Boys/Girls, Junior (Born 2008-2014)

26kg, 28kg, 30kg, 32kg, 34kg, 36kg, 38kg, 40kg, 42kg, 44kg, 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 80kg+

Masters (1983 & Earlier) / Elite (1984 - 2005) / Youth NQ Games only  (Born 2006-2007) 

Male - 46-48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg, 92kg+

Female - 45kg-48kg, 50kg, 52kg 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 81kg, 81kg+

Youth (Born 2006-2007) State Titles:

Male - 47-50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 90kg+

Female - 45 - 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 80kg+

When nominating please nominate in your weight category, not your actual weight ie; if you are youth, male & weigh 71.4kg you are in the 75kg weight division. You must weigh in on or under your nominated weight division.

Boxers who compete with soft contact lenses or orthodonic braces must have releases filled out and should have these for all competitions.

• Once again all Boxers & Coaches must be registered with Boxing Qld as full members through an affiliated club to compete and enter the field of play. There is not temp membership available.
